Kohli Leather Store was established by Late Shri N.N. Kohli in 1960. Sh N.N.Kohli came as a refugee practically empty handed from Sialkot(Pakistan) to New Delhi in 1947.He started locally procuring and supplying buffalo skins to Mochi's based in Dariyaganj. Therafter, by 1950 he went to Madras for purchasing skins and started wholesale purchases and retail sales of leather. Kohli Leather Store was established by him in 1960 at Ballimaran, Delhi.

Gradually and with abundant caution he established his name in Delhi and Madras as an honest, fair and value for money supplier of leather. In Mid 1960's his two sons Shi V.M. Kohli and Sh P.K.Kohli joined the business.The company grew many folds therafter with Shri N.N. Kohli mostly establishing base in Madras and Shri V.M. Kohli and Shri P.K. Kohli based in Delhi. There focus was always on getting best deals for their customers and suppliers. The margins were albeit small, Caution and Goodwill were hallmarks of business.

They expanded to purchasing from Calcutta and also supplying to factories and other traders in and around Delhi. Sh N.N Kohli retired in 1991 and Sh V.M. Kohli left the partnership in 1997. Sh P.K. Kohli was joined by Vinayak Kohli in 1997. Vinayak is a B.E.(Mech) from N.I.T, Jaipur and M.F.T. from F.D.D.I. Noida with experience in Phoenix International, Noida and BATA India Ltd., Calcutta in Footwear Manufacturing .They both began to source requirements of Leather for exporters based in Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab. Kohli Leather Store is a well known name in Vegetable Tanned Leathers.They are known for timely Supplies, Quality, Quantity, Honesty and fair financial dealings.
